Hartzog Conger Cason & Neville Names Clerks

Hartzog Conger Cason & Neville has named its 2009 class of summer clerks.
 
First-year clerks:
Naomi Smith, Oklahoma City University School of Law – Smith is a Hatton W. Sumners Scholar and ranks in the top two percent of her class. She is an M.B.A. candidate at OCU and earned a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from the University of Iowa.
Jared Boyer, University of Notre Dame Law School – Boyer earned a B.A. in American Studies from Stanford University.
 
Second-year clerks:
Michael L. Brooks, University of Oklahoma College of Law – Brooks ranks number one in his class, serves as editor-in-chief of the Law Review and is a Comfort Scholar. He earned a B.A., Summa Cum Laude, in Political Science from the University of Oklahoma.
Melissa S. Hedrick, Oklahoma City University School of Law – Hedrick is a Hatton W. Sumners Scholar and ranks number one in her class. She earned a B.A. in Political Science, with distinction, from the University of Oklahoma.

According to Armand Paliotta, chairman of the recruiting committee, these lawyers in training have the qualities the Firm seeks in future associates. “They all are at the top of their class academically and demonstrate a strong work ethic through their professional experience in a wide range of fields,” he said. “In addition, and importantly, they have shown a strong commitment to community service, on top of demanding educational and work responsibilities.”
