Oklahoma City, OK (August 24, 2006) -- Jon Trudgeon, partner in the law firm of Hartzog Conger Cason & Neville, has been appointed Oklahoma State Chair of ACTEC (American College of Trust and Estate Council). Trudgeon’s appointment will take effect at the annual meeting in March 2007.

The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC) is a professional association consisting of approximately 2,700 lawyers from throughout the United States, Canada and other parts of the world who are elected as Fellows of the College. Fellows are selected on the basis of professional reputation and ability in the fields of trusts and estates and on the basis of having made substantial contributions to these fields through lecturing, writing, teaching and bar activities.
Mr. Trudgeon’s practice areas include Wealth Transfer Planning, Trusts and Estates; Nonprofit and Tax Exempt organizations; and Employee Benefits and Retirement Planning. In addition, he is President of the Oklahoma City Estate Planning Council, past president of the Oklahoma Bar Foundation, and past president of the Board of Oklahoma Center for Nonprofit Management, to name a few. Trudgeon received his J.D. with highest honors from the University of Oklahoma College of Law, and holds a BBA in Finance/Investments, also from O.U.
